The complete range of Ethicon sutures; Ethilon, Prolene, Vicryl, Vicryl Plus, Vicryl Rapide, Monocryl and PDS II are available from SurgiSol.

Main Ethicon Suture Types:
  • Vicryl (Polyglactin 910): Braided, absorbable sutures often used for soft tissue approximation.
  • Vicryl Plus Antibacterial: Features antimicrobial coating to reduce infection risk.
  • Monocryl (Poliglecaprone 25): Monofilament, absorbable sutures offering smooth passage, often used in skin closures.
  • Prolene (Polypropylene): Non-absorbable, monofilament sutures commonly used in cardiovascular, plastic, and general surgeries.
  • Ethilon (Nylon): Non-absorbable, monofilament nylon sutures used for skin closure.
  • PDS II (Polydioxanone): Absorbable, monofilament sutures used for soft tissue approximation, including pediatric cardiovascular and ophthalmic surgery.
  • Stratafix: Knotless tissue control devices for increased efficiency.
